Ingredients
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts (sliced thinly)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/3 cup teriyaki sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 4 large flour tortillas or wraps
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1/2 cup shredded carrots
- 1/2 cup sliced cucumber
- 1/4 cup sliced green onions
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise (optional)
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds (optional for garnish)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add sliced chicken and cook for 4–5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until browned and cooked through.
- Stir in teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, sesame oil, and garlic. Cook for another 2–3 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the chicken.
- Warm the tortillas slightly in a dry skillet or microwave for easier folding.
- Spread a thin layer of mayonnaise (if using) on each tortilla.
- Divide the lettuce, carrots, cucumber, and green onions evenly among the wraps.
- Spoon the teriyaki chicken mixture over the vegetables.
- Sprinkle with sesame seeds if desired, then roll up tightly, folding in the sides as you go.
- Slice in half and serve warm or chilled.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add avocado slices or a drizzle of spicy mayo inside the wrap.
- Use whole wheat or spinach tortillas for a healthier twist.
- These wraps hold well for meal prep — just store the filling separately and assemble when ready to eat.
