Description

This Teriyaki Chicken Wrap is a flavorful and easy-to-make meal featuring tender chicken tossed in a sweet and savory teriyaki glaze, wrapped with fresh vegetables in a soft tortilla. It’s perfect for a quick lunch, dinner, or meal prep option with a delicious Asian-inspired twist.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts (sliced thinly)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/3 cup teriyaki sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 4 large flour tortillas or wraps
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 cup shredded carrots
  • 1/2 cup sliced cucumber
  • 1/4 cup sliced green onions
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise (optional)
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds (optional for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add sliced chicken and cook for 4–5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until browned and cooked through.
  3. Stir in teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, sesame oil, and garlic. Cook for another 2–3 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the chicken.
  4. Warm the tortillas slightly in a dry skillet or microwave for easier folding.
  5. Spread a thin layer of mayonnaise (if using) on each tortilla.
  6. Divide the lettuce, carrots, cucumber, and green onions evenly among the wraps.
  7. Spoon the teriyaki chicken mixture over the vegetables.
  8. Sprinkle with sesame seeds if desired, then roll up tightly, folding in the sides as you go.
  9. Slice in half and serve warm or chilled.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add avocado slices or a drizzle of spicy mayo inside the wrap.
  • Use whole wheat or spinach tortillas for a healthier twist.
  • These wraps hold well for meal prep — just store the filling separately and assemble when ready to eat.
