Description

Tasty Homemade Chickpea Chips are crispy, protein-packed snacks made from chickpea flour and simple seasonings, baked until golden and perfect for dipping.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup chickpea flour (besan)
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk chickpea flour, salt, paprika, garlic powder, and black pepper.
  3. Add water, olive oil, and lemon juice, whisking until smooth and lump-free.
  4. Spread batter thinly and evenly onto the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 10–12 minutes until set but not browned.
  6. Remove from oven, cut into chip-sized pieces using a pizza cutter.
  7. Return to oven and bake another 8–12 minutes until crisp and golden.
  8. Cool completely before serving to allow chips to crisp fully.
