A comforting and creative dish that combines classic spaghetti with the rich, buttery flavors of garlic bread, baked together for a crispy top and tender, cheesy center.
Ingredients
- 12 oz spaghetti
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 tablespoons butter, melted
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
- Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain well.
- In a small bowl, mix melted butter, olive oil, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Toss the cooked spaghetti with marinara sauce and half of the garlic butter mixture.
- Transfer the spaghetti to the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
- Drizzle the remaining garlic butter over the top.
- Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese evenly over the spaghetti.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the top is lightly golden.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, broil for 2–3 minutes at the end.
- Add red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
- Serve as a main dish or a hearty side.
