Description

This Smoky Gouda Bacon Dip Delight is a creamy, cheesy, and smoky appetizer that combines rich gouda cheese, crispy bacon, and savory seasonings. Perfect for parties, game nights, or any occasion that calls for an irresistible warm dip served with bread or crackers.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz smoked gouda cheese, shredded
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled (reserve some for garnish)
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a small baking dish or oven-safe skillet.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise until smooth.
  3. Stir in shredded gouda, Parmesan, garlic powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, green onions, and crumbled bacon (reserve a small amount of bacon for topping).
  4. Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared dish and top with remaining bacon.
  5. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until bubbly and golden on top.
  6. Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley and additional green onions if desired.
  7. Serve warm with toasted baguette slices, crackers, or fresh veggies.

Notes

  • Use smoked gouda for the best flavor — regular gouda works if you prefer a milder taste.
  • Can be made ahead and baked just before serving.
  • Try adding diced jalapeños for a spicy twist.
  • Reheat leftovers in the oven or microwave until warm and creamy again.
