Ingredients
- 900 g boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/3 cup mayonnaise
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 6 sandwich buns
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Lightly grease the slow cooker with olive oil.
- Add chicken breasts to the slow cooker.
- Pour in chicken broth and sprinkle garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper over the chicken.
- Cook on low for 5–6 hours or high for 3–4 hours until chicken is tender.
- Remove chicken and shred using two forks.
- Return shredded chicken to the slow cooker.
- Stir in cream cheese, mayonnaise, and Parmesan cheese until creamy.
- Cover and cook on low for an additional 20–30 minutes.
- Spoon chicken mixture onto sandwich buns.
- Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
