Description

Slow Cooker Parmesan Garlic Chicken Sandwiches feature tender shredded chicken cooked low and slow in a creamy garlic Parmesan sauce, then piled onto toasted buns for an easy and comforting meal.


Ingredients

  • 900 g boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 6 sandwich buns
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)


Instructions

  1. Lightly grease the slow cooker with olive oil.
  2. Add chicken breasts to the slow cooker.
  3. Pour in chicken broth and sprinkle garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper over the chicken.
  4. Cook on low for 5–6 hours or high for 3–4 hours until chicken is tender.
  5. Remove chicken and shred using two forks.
  6. Return shredded chicken to the slow cooker.
  7. Stir in cream cheese, mayonnaise, and Parmesan cheese until creamy.
  8. Cover and cook on low for an additional 20–30 minutes.
  9. Spoon chicken mixture onto sandwich buns.
  10. Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
