Description
Savory pizza cupcakes made with biscuit or pizza dough, filled with sauce, cheese, and toppings, then baked in a muffin tin for a fun, handheld twist on traditional pizza.
Ingredients
- 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (or pizza dough)
- 1 cup pizza sauce
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup mini pepperoni slices (or chopped regular pepperoni)
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Optional toppings: diced bell peppers, mushrooms, olives, or onions
- Nonstick cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a muffin tin with nonstick spray.
- Flatten each biscuit or cut pizza dough into circles large enough to fit into muffin cups.
- Press the dough into each muffin cup, forming a little crust base.
- Spoon 1 tablespoon of pizza sauce into each dough cup.
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the sauce and add desired toppings.
- Top with more cheese, pepperoni, and a sprinkle of Italian seasoning.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until cheese is melted and dough is golden brown.
- Remove from oven, let cool slightly, then carefully remove cupcakes from tin.
- Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese before serving.
Notes
- Great for parties, snacks, or lunchboxes.
- Can be customized with any pizza toppings you like.
- Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days and reheat in the oven or air fryer.
