Description

This One Pot Creamy Garlic Pasta is a simple, rich, and comforting dish made with tender pasta cooked directly in a luscious garlic cream sauce. It’s a quick, no-fuss meal that comes together in one pot — perfect for busy weeknights or when you need an easy comfort food fix.

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 cups chicken broth (or vegetable broth)
  • 1 cup milk or cream
  • 8 oz spaghetti or fettuccine
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp cream cheese (optional, for extra creaminess)
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a large pot or deep skillet, heat butter and olive oil over medium heat until melted.
  2. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute, until fragrant but not browned.
  3. Pour in the chicken broth, milk, salt, and pepper, then bring to a gentle boil.
  4. Add the pasta and stir occasionally to prevent sticking. Cook uncovered for 10–12 minutes, until pasta is al dente and most of the liquid is absorbed.
  5. Reduce heat to low and stir in Parmesan cheese and cream cheese (if using). Mix until smooth and creamy.
  6. Adjust seasoning to taste and add a splash of milk if the sauce is too thick.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, use half-and-half instead of milk.
  • Add cooked chicken, shrimp, or veggies to make it a complete meal.
  • Leftovers can be reheated with a bit of milk to restore creaminess.
