Description

These Keto Philly Cheesesteak Roll Ups are a low-carb twist on the classic sandwich — tender slices of beef filled with sautéed onions, peppers, and melted provolone cheese, all rolled up and baked to perfection. They’re flavorful, cheesy, and ideal for keto-friendly meal prep or quick dinners.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb thinly sliced sirloin or ribeye steak
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 small onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 6 slices provolone cheese
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce (optional)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onions and bell peppers; sauté until softened, about 5 minutes.
  3. Season with garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Add Worcestershire sauce if using, then remove from heat and set aside.
  4. Lay out the thin steak slices on a cutting board. Place a slice of provolone cheese on top of each piece.
  5. Spoon a small amount of the cooked pepper and onion mixture onto each steak slice.
  6. Roll up each piece tightly and secure with a toothpick if needed.
  7. Place the roll ups seam-side down in a baking dish or on a parchment-lined tray.
  8. Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until the steak is cooked through and the cheese is melted.
  9. Remove from oven, garnish with chopped parsley, and serve warm.

Notes

  • Use thin-sliced deli roast beef if you don’t have fresh steak available.
  • Can be cooked in a skillet instead of the oven for a quicker option.
  • Serve with a side of cauliflower mash or salad for a complete keto meal.
