Description
These Keto Philly Cheesesteak Roll Ups are a low-carb twist on the classic sandwich — tender slices of beef filled with sautéed onions, peppers, and melted provolone cheese, all rolled up and baked to perfection. They’re flavorful, cheesy, and ideal for keto-friendly meal prep or quick dinners.
Ingredients
- 1 lb thinly sliced sirloin or ribeye steak
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 small onion, thinly sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1/2 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 6 slices provolone cheese
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce (optional)
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onions and bell peppers; sauté until softened, about 5 minutes.
- Season with garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Add Worcestershire sauce if using, then remove from heat and set aside.
- Lay out the thin steak slices on a cutting board. Place a slice of provolone cheese on top of each piece.
- Spoon a small amount of the cooked pepper and onion mixture onto each steak slice.
- Roll up each piece tightly and secure with a toothpick if needed.
- Place the roll ups seam-side down in a baking dish or on a parchment-lined tray.
- Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until the steak is cooked through and the cheese is melted.
- Remove from oven, garnish with chopped parsley, and serve warm.
Notes
- Use thin-sliced deli roast beef if you don’t have fresh steak available.
- Can be cooked in a skillet instead of the oven for a quicker option.
- Serve with a side of cauliflower mash or salad for a complete keto meal.
