Description

Tender, bite-sized salmon pieces coated in a sweet and savory garlic honey glaze, quickly pan-seared for a flavorful and easy weeknight dish.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb salmon fillets, skin removed and cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • Optional: sesame seeds, green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season salmon cubes with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add salmon bites and sear 1–2 minutes per side until lightly crisp but not fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter and add garlic. Cook 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Stir in honey, soy sauce, and lemon juice. Simmer 1–2 minutes until slightly thickened.
  6. Return salmon to the skillet and toss gently to coat. Cook an additional 1–2 minutes until glazed and cooked through.
  7. Garnish with sesame seeds or green onions before serving.

Notes

  • Serve over rice, noodles, or a fresh salad.
  • Add red pepper flakes for heat.
  • Use maple syrup instead of honey for a different sweetness.
  • Do not overcook the salmon—remove as soon as it flakes easily.
