Description
Tender, bite-sized salmon pieces coated in a sweet and savory garlic honey glaze, quickly pan-seared for a flavorful and easy weeknight dish.
Ingredients
- 1 lb salmon fillets, skin removed and cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp butter
- Optional: sesame seeds, green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Season salmon cubes with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add salmon bites and sear 1–2 minutes per side until lightly crisp but not fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and add garlic. Cook 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Stir in honey, soy sauce, and lemon juice. Simmer 1–2 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Return salmon to the skillet and toss gently to coat. Cook an additional 1–2 minutes until glazed and cooked through.
- Garnish with sesame seeds or green onions before serving.
Notes
- Serve over rice, noodles, or a fresh salad.
- Add red pepper flakes for heat.
- Use maple syrup instead of honey for a different sweetness.
- Do not overcook the salmon—remove as soon as it flakes easily.
