Juicy turkey burgers flavored with Thai sweet chili sauce, garlic, and herbs, delivering a perfect balance of sweet heat and savory goodness.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1/3 cup Thai sweet chili sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 green onions, finely sliced
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp ginger, grated
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil (for cooking)
- Burger buns, for serving
- Lettuce, for topping
- Sliced cucumbers or pickles, for topping
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, sweet chili sauce, garlic, green onions, soy sauce, ginger, salt, pepper, and breadcrumbs.
- Mix gently until well combined, then form into 4 burger patties.
- Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat or preheat a grill.
- Cook the patties for 5–6 minutes per side, or until fully cooked and internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Toast the burger buns if desired.
- Assemble the burgers by placing each patty onto a bun and topping with lettuce, cucumbers, or preferred toppings.
- Drizzle with extra sweet chili sauce if desired and serve warm.
Notes
- For extra heat, add a teaspoon of sriracha to the mixture.
- Use panko breadcrumbs for a lighter texture.
- These patties can also be air-fried at 375°F for about 12 minutes, flipping halfway.
