Description

Juicy turkey burgers flavored with Thai sweet chili sauce, garlic, and herbs, delivering a perfect balance of sweet heat and savory goodness.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1/3 cup Thai sweet chili sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 green onions, finely sliced
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil (for cooking)
  • Burger buns, for serving
  • Lettuce, for topping
  • Sliced cucumbers or pickles, for topping


Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, sweet chili sauce, garlic, green onions, soy sauce, ginger, salt, pepper, and breadcrumbs.
  2. Mix gently until well combined, then form into 4 burger patties.
  3. Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat or preheat a grill.
  4. Cook the patties for 5–6 minutes per side, or until fully cooked and internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  5. Toast the burger buns if desired.
  6. Assemble the burgers by placing each patty onto a bun and topping with lettuce, cucumbers, or preferred toppings.
  7. Drizzle with extra sweet chili sauce if desired and serve warm.

Notes

  • For extra heat, add a teaspoon of sriracha to the mixture.
  • Use panko breadcrumbs for a lighter texture.
  • These patties can also be air-fried at 375°F for about 12 minutes, flipping halfway.
