Ingredients
- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs or panko
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Season chicken breasts with salt and black pepper.
- Set up a breading station with flour, beaten eggs, and a mixture of Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, and paprika.
- Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip in egg, then coat evenly with the Parmesan breadcrumb mixture.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Cook chicken for 5–6 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add chicken broth and scrape up any browned bits.
- Stir in heavy cream and Italian seasoning, simmering for 3–4 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Return chicken to the skillet and spoon sauce over the top.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.
