Ingredients

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs or panko
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley


Instructions

  1. Season chicken breasts with salt and black pepper.
  2. Set up a breading station with flour, beaten eggs, and a mixture of Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, and paprika.
  3. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip in egg, then coat evenly with the Parmesan breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  5. Cook chicken for 5–6 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  6. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  7. Add chicken broth and scrape up any browned bits.
  8. Stir in heavy cream and Italian seasoning, simmering for 3–4 minutes until slightly thickened.
  9. Return chicken to the skillet and spoon sauce over the top.
  10. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.
