Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 12 oz pasta (rotini or penne)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup milk
  • 8 oz Velveeta cheese, cubed
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)


Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add butter and diced onion to the skillet and sautรฉ until softened.
  4. Stir in garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Add beef broth and milk, stirring to combine.
  6. Add cubed Velveeta cheese and stir until fully melted and smooth.
  7. Season with salt, black pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning.
  8. Add cooked pasta to the sauce and toss until evenly coated.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve hot.

Notes

  • Stir constantly when melting Velveeta to prevent sticking.
  • Add a splash of milk if the sauce thickens too much.
  • Ground turkey can be substituted for beef.
