Ingredients
- 200 g block feta cheese
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Pat the feta block dry with paper towels.
- Mix flour and black pepper in a shallow dish.
- Lightly coat feta on all sides with the flour mixture, shaking off excess.
- Heat olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
- Carefully place feta in the pan and cook for 2–3 minutes per side until golden and crispy.
- Remove from heat and transfer to a serving plate.
- Sprinkle with oregano and drizzle with fresh lemon juice.
- Garnish with parsley if desired and serve immediately.
Notes
- Use a firm block of feta to prevent breaking.
- Serve with warm pita bread or crusty bread.
- A drizzle of honey can add a sweet contrast.
