Ingredients
- 1 baguette, sliced into rounds
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 8 oz smoked salmon, sliced
- 2 tablespoons capers
- 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh chives, chopped
- Fresh parsley or rosemary sprigs, for garnish
- Fresh cranberries or cherry tomatoes, for decoration (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet and brush lightly with olive oil.
- Bake for 8–10 minutes until lightly golden and crisp. Cool completely.
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sour cream, lemon juice, and lemon zest until smooth.
- Spread a layer of the cream cheese mixture onto each bruschetta.
- Top with folded slices of smoked salmon.
- Arrange the bruschetta in a circular wreath shape on a large serving platter.
- Sprinkle capers, dill, and chives over the top.
- Garnish with parsley or rosemary sprigs and cranberries for a festive look.
- Serve immediately or refrigerate briefly before serving.
