Ingredients

  • 1 baguette, sliced into rounds
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 8 oz smoked salmon, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons capers
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chives, chopped
  • Fresh parsley or rosemary sprigs, for garnish
  • Fresh cranberries or cherry tomatoes, for decoration (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet and brush lightly with olive oil.
  3. Bake for 8–10 minutes until lightly golden and crisp. Cool completely.
  4. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sour cream, lemon juice, and lemon zest until smooth.
  5. Spread a layer of the cream cheese mixture onto each bruschetta.
  6. Top with folded slices of smoked salmon.
  7. Arrange the bruschetta in a circular wreath shape on a large serving platter.
  8. Sprinkle capers, dill, and chives over the top.
  9. Garnish with parsley or rosemary sprigs and cranberries for a festive look.
  10. Serve immediately or refrigerate briefly before serving.
