Description

A festive Christmas bruschetta wreath made of toasted baguette slices topped with a fresh tomato-basil mixture and arranged in a holiday wreath shape.


Ingredients

  • 1 baguette, sliced into 1/2-inch rounds
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cups cherry tomatoes, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 1 tbsp balsamic glaze
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh rosemary sprigs for garnish
  • Fresh mozzarella pearls (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet and brush with olive oil.
  2. Toast the slices in the oven for 8–10 minutes until golden and crisp.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the diced tomatoes, garlic, basil, salt, pepper, and a drizzle of olive oil.
  4. Arrange the toasted baguette slices in a circular wreath shape on a serving platter.
  5. Spoon the tomato mixture evenly over each slice.
  6. Top with mozzarella pearls if desired and drizzle with balsamic glaze.
  7. Garnish the wreath with rosemary sprigs to resemble greenery and serve immediately.
