Description
A festive Christmas bruschetta wreath made of toasted baguette slices topped with a fresh tomato-basil mixture and arranged in a holiday wreath shape.
Ingredients
- 1 baguette, sliced into 1/2-inch rounds
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 3 cups cherry tomatoes, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
- 1 tbsp balsamic glaze
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh rosemary sprigs for garnish
- Fresh mozzarella pearls (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet and brush with olive oil.
- Toast the slices in the oven for 8–10 minutes until golden and crisp.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the diced tomatoes, garlic, basil, salt, pepper, and a drizzle of olive oil.
- Arrange the toasted baguette slices in a circular wreath shape on a serving platter.
- Spoon the tomato mixture evenly over each slice.
- Top with mozzarella pearls if desired and drizzle with balsamic glaze.
- Garnish the wreath with rosemary sprigs to resemble greenery and serve immediately.
Notes
- Add red and green toppings for extra festive color.
- Prepare the tomato mixture ahead of time for easier assembly.
