Ingredients
- 1 baguette, sliced into 1/2-inch pieces
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, diced
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 100 g dark chocolate, chopped
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil or butter
- Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F).
- Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet and toast for 8–10 minutes until crisp and lightly golden.
- In a bowl, mix diced strawberries with sugar and vanilla extract. Set aside to macerate.
- Melt dark chocolate with coconut oil or butter using a double boiler or microwave, stirring until smooth.
- Spread a layer of melted chocolate over each toasted bread slice.
- Spoon strawberry mixture evenly on top of the chocolate layer.
- Garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired.
- Serve immediately or slightly chilled.
