Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan and line with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In a separate large bowl, beat the butter, peanut butter, and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Alternate adding the dry ingredients and milk into the batter, beginning and ending with the dry ingredients.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 60–70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
- Use mini chocolate chips for more even distribution.
- Warm slices in the microwave for a gooey, melty treat.
- Add a peanut butter glaze for extra richness.
