Description

A rich and dense pound cake infused with creamy peanut butter and packed with chocolate chips for the perfect sweet and nutty treat.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan and line with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a separate large bowl, beat the butter, peanut butter, and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  6. Alternate adding the dry ingredients and milk into the batter, beginning and ending with the dry ingredients.
  7. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  8. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  9. Bake for 60–70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  10. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

  • Use mini chocolate chips for more even distribution.
  • Warm slices in the microwave for a gooey, melty treat.
