Description
A creamy and bold chipotle garlic sauce made with sour cream, perfect as a dip, spread, or drizzle for tacos, burritos, and grilled dishes.
Ingredients
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 chipotle peppers in adobo sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, roasted or fresh
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- Salt to taste
- 1 tbsp fresh cilantro (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- In a blender or food processor, combine sour cream, chipotle peppers, garlic, lime juice, smoked paprika, and cumin.
- Blend until smooth and creamy. Adjust seasoning with salt as needed.
- Transfer to a serving bowl or airtight container.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving for best flavor.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving, if desired.

- For extra heat, add more chipotle peppers or a spoon of adobo sauce.
