Ingredients
- 8 oz egg noodles
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning (optional)
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp chopped parsley (for garnish)
- 1/4 cup reserved pasta water (as needed)
Instructions
- Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/4 cup of pasta water, then drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter over medium-high heat.
- Season the chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Add to the skillet and cook for 5–7 minutes, until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, melt the remaining tablespoon of butter and add the minced garlic. Sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the cooked noodles to the skillet and toss to coat with the garlic butter.
- Return the chicken to the pan and toss everything together. Add a splash of reserved pasta water if needed for a silky sauce.
- Sprinkle with grated Parmesan and garnish with chopped parsley.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
