Ingredients

  • 4 round bread bowls
  • 2 cups cooked chicken breast, diced or shredded
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cut the tops off the bread bowls and hollow out the centers. Place on a baking sheet.
  3. Brush the insides with olive oil and toast in the oven for 8–10 minutes until lightly crisp.
  4. In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter and sauté garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Add heavy cream, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Simmer for 3–4 minutes.
  6. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  7. Add cooked chicken and simmer for 2–3 minutes until heated through.
  8. Spoon the chicken Alfredo mixture into the toasted bread bowls.
  9. Bake for an additional 5 minutes if desired.
  10. Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
