Description

Cheesy Garlic Rolls are soft, fluffy bread rolls brushed with fragrant garlic butter and stuffed or topped with melted cheese, making them the perfect side dish or snack.


Ingredients

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons instant yeast
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley


Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine flour, yeast, sugar, and salt.
  2. Add warm milk and melted butter, mixing until a soft dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  5. Punch down the dough and divide into 12 equal portions.
  6. Flatten each portion slightly, add a bit of mozzarella cheese, and shape into rolls.
  7. Place rolls seam-side down in a greased baking dish.
  8. Cover and let rise for another 30 minutes.
  9. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
  10. Mix softened butter with minced garlic and parsley.
  11. Brush garlic butter over the rolls and sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top.
  12. Bake for 18–22 minutes until golden brown and cheese is melted.
  13. Serve warm.
