Description
A deliciously cheesy garlic pizza bread with a crispy crust, gooey melted cheese, and rich garlic butter — perfect as an appetizer, side dish, or snack.
Ingredients
- 1 large pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
- 3 tablespoons butter, melted
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet or pizza pan with parchment paper.
- Roll out pizza dough into a rectangle or circle about 1/2 inch thick.
- In a small bowl, mix melted butter, olive oil, minced garlic, oregano, and salt.
- Brush garlic butter mixture evenly over the pizza dough.
- Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses evenly over the top.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from oven, garnish with chopped parsley, and slice into strips or wedges.
- Serve warm with marinara sauce or garlic dip.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of chili flakes or Italian seasoning before baking.
- Use a blend of mozzarella and cheddar for a sharper cheese flavor.
- This can also be made on a baguette for a quick alternative to pizza dough.
