Ingredients
- 6 cups Rice Chex cereal
- 1 cup white chocolate chips (or vanilla candy melts)
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground ginger
- 1/4 tsp ground cardamom
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/8 tsp ground cloves
Instructions
- Place the Chex cereal in a large mixing bowl.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine white chocolate chips and butter. Microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring between each, until melted and smooth.
- Stir in vanilla extract, then pour the melted mixture over the cereal. Gently toss to coat evenly.
- In a separate small bowl, whisk together powdered sugar, granulated sugar, cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, nutmeg, and cloves.
- Transfer the coated cereal into a large resealable bag or container with a lid. Add the chai-sugar mixture, seal, and shake until all cereal pieces are evenly coated.
- Spread the mixture out on parchment paper to cool and dry completely.
- Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week.
