Description
This Caramel Apple Cider Float is a cozy-meets-refreshing treat that combines sweet apple cider, creamy vanilla ice cream, and rich caramel sauce. Perfect for fall gatherings or a quick dessert drink that tastes like autumn in a glass.
Ingredients
- 2 cups cold apple cider
- 4 scoops vanilla ice cream
- 1/4 cup caramel sauce (plus extra for drizzling)
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
- Whipped cream (optional, for topping)
- Apple slices or cinnamon sticks (for garnish)
Instructions
- Chill two tall glasses in the freezer for 10 minutes (optional for frosty mugs).
- Pour 1 tablespoon of caramel sauce into the bottom of each glass.
- Add 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream to each glass.
- Slowly pour apple cider over the ice cream until the glass is almost full.
- Sprinkle a pinch of cinnamon on top and drizzle with extra caramel sauce.
- Top with whipped cream, apple slices, or a cinnamon stick for garnish.
- Serve immediately with a straw and spoon.
Notes
- For a boozy version, add a splash of caramel vodka or spiced rum.
- Use warm apple cider for a cozy hot float variation — just pour slowly to avoid melting the ice cream too fast.
- Try using salted caramel for extra depth of flavor.
- Best enjoyed fresh — don’t let it sit too long or it’ll lose its frosty texture.
