Description

A bold, indulgent fusion lasagna layered with BBQ-seasoned ground beef, smoky bacon, cheddar and mozzarella cheeses, and creamy sauce for the ultimate cheeseburger-inspired comfort dish.

Ingredients

  • 12 lasagna noodles, cooked
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and chopped
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes, drained
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • Optional toppings: pickles, green onions

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook ground beef with diced onion until browned; drain excess fat.
  3. Add garlic, smoked paprika, salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, diced tomatoes, and BBQ sauce. Simmer 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in chopped cooked bacon and remove from heat.
  5. In a small bowl, mix ricotta and egg until smooth.
  6. Assemble lasagna: spread a thin layer of meat mixture in the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  7. Add a layer of noodles, then ricotta mixture, meat mixture, cheddar, and mozzarella.
  8. Repeat layers until ingredients are used, finishing with cheese on top.
  9. Cover with foil and bake 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 10–15 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  10. Let rest 10 minutes before slicing. Top with pickles or green onions if desired.

Notes

  • Use smoked bacon for extra flavor depth.
  • Add jalapeños for a spicy kick.
  • Substitute ground turkey for a lighter option.
  • Drizzle with extra BBQ sauce before serving for more sweetness and smoky flavor.
